In the winter, you can reach this by skis or snowboard. In the summer, good shoes will work fine.
From the parking lot to the cache, you will have a 780 ft. elevation gain. Not far from the top of Wild Side Lift on Thunderbird run.
In the summer you can park at the Pacific Crest Trailhead. You will need a NW Trail Pass to park in this area. There is plenty of other parking nearby that does not require the pass.
