Long ago, pirates travelled along Los Alamitos Creek. One of
their ships capsized and they lost many of their belongings,
including a small treasure chest, which was later washed ashore.
Recently, the location of this lost treasure chest was recovered so
that geocachers can hunt for it and trade with treasures of their
own.
The trail leading to the treasure chest can be accessed from
several locations. Bike, kid, and dog friendly.
