Geocache Description:

Pleasant and easy walk, one mile round trip, on a State hike/bike trail. Go beachside and take A1A south from Rte.192/5th Ave. Keep an eye out for Long Point Road and hang a right. Then watch for the South Beach Mountain Bike Trail. If you reach the Ranger check-in you've gone to far.

This is a very nice area that doesn't seem to get much use. Even with all the campers out on the nearby island. Lots of birds, a lagoon, fish jumping, and nice views. Watch for bicyclers using the trail - take yours and enjoy the whole 2.8 mile loop. Good luck and enjoy the area....

11-10-07: Cache container was replaced again - ammo can has gone missing - new container is a lock & lock plastic container with camo tape on it.
