Geocache Description:

Just off a path in birch woodland

North Cliffe Wood is a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust reserve and you are requested to keep dogs under strict control in the wood. Otherwise this provides a pleasing walk in peaceful surroundings not far from the Eastern end of the M62.
The Wildlife Trust suggest entrance to the wood either from the northwest corner N 53 49.540 W 00 41.750 or the northeast corner N 53 49.545 W 00 41.410. There is limited room to get part off the road just to the east of each of these points and the first gives you a walk of about 1.5 miles round the whole wood. Insect repellant may be a good idea in Summer time!
The reserve extends to 35 hectares on the edge of the Plain of York probably at its best in the spring when the bluebells are out. Please respect it.
The cache is a small plastic box.
