Hundsennvatnet Traditional Cache

Placed on a small peak at the end of Hundsennvatnet. A nice spot for timeouts when taking tours into the valley. The place is roughly 6 km from the most likely parking place on your way towards LYKKJA. In winter time there are groomed trails nearby and in summer time it's not that hard to foot-walk out here. The landscape is nice and I guess you have a nice place to pitch a tent just beside this spot.
The cache is a tupperware container with the usual small items, a logbook and guess what? A small pencil. The box is hidden in a place that I'll hope works all year around. We had two weeks of sun at the time for the placing of the cache. Two weeks of clear blue skies and warm weather in February is not THAT common in Hemsedal in the winter time. This special day we had an absolutely fantastic x-country skiing tour. We went all the way up to a small summer farm called "Lægeret" (that means nothing more than "Camp") You are advised to go there and fill you water bottles in the summer time! To get close to this cache, drive to Ulsåk, then towards Lykkja (sign 17 km). OR if you're even more OUTDOOR: Take the other way and sneak in from "the wrong way". Drive to Tuv, then towards Grøndalen. After the ski lifts, take right and drive towards Harahorn/The cache "Soleglad"/Vavatn. Park when the road ends. Hike from there into Hydalen and take the cache from there.
