Centris: [green]It is with a sad and heavy heart that I archive the doggy cache.
My sweet Yellow Lab "Scout" is gone to be with her "daddy" up in heaven. Hopefully they are out chasing pheasants together and romping around in the tall grass where they both loved to be so much. I miss my husband more than words can say but I am glad he and Scout are together again.
Scout was the best dog I have ever had and probably ever will have. Her passing leaves a huge gap in our family.[/green]
Side note -- Thanks to all of you who hunted out this cache and hid it better than you found it. It took Wallypog and I the better part of a half hour to find and retrieve the bugger. You would think that a cache the size of a small suitcase would be easier to find, but it is a sad day when you can't locate your own cache (grin).
Wallypog CITO'ed out a bunch of beer cans along the trail. It looked like somebody had a private graduation party there in the woods, but good for him that he quickly took care of the problem and we left the trail in great shape.
Thanks to the parks department of Champlin for it's excellent work maintaining this wonderful park -- it has always been my favorite park in your city.
