Geocache Description:

Parking is at the top of the harbour in the parking area. Follow the track then, MAKE SURE THE TIDE IS OUT OR GOING OUT as the cache is on an island. There is a sort of obvious way up onto the island, older kids will love it, keep a tight grip of younger ones, wear good walking shoes or boots.

Once on the island there are not a lot of places to hide a cache so I thought it should be fairly easy to find - wrong!

Anyway it went missing and now has a new hiding place a wee bit away from the last and a lot more obvious.

Look out for garnets which stud the rocks in this area as well as quartz intrusions.

This is called Anniversary Cache No 2 because when I looked at my GPS today (our 28th anniversary) there was a note stuck to it saying Waypoint 29. We got on the motorbikes and took off to find this cache. I found it easily and you can see the picture of the contents below. I took everything and left nothing (hee hee!)

We then went away for the rest of the weekend and I took Anniversary Cache No 2 with me - the goodies in this one are not anything like Anninversary Cache No 1 but then what do you expect.

Cache is now in am ammo box and the contents are:
Tube of Glow Sticks
Toy Car
Toy Glider
Noisy thing for going in the fridge when it's opened
Travelling hairbrush
Magnetic Sun Glasses Case
I can't remember what else! The Champagne was good though!

Have fun!
