Southern Cache Bash 2003 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Chris n Maria: Well, everyone seemed to have a good time and we really enjoyed meeting everyone and just relaxing in the pub garden....great.

A big thankyou to Mark for organising the Fox Hunt and to the great geocacher in the sky for the weather. Thanks to all who came as well for making the day special.

Hopefully the caches will form a legacy from a really great day.

Geocache Description:

A chance to meet other cachers and enjoy a day of caching in Epping Forest

All are welcome to join us for a drink and food at the Foresters Arms Public House on Saturday 5th of April. We expect most people will arrive around 12:00. Once people have had a chance to get a drink, get some food, meet other cachers, discuss tupperware and put faces to names. The afternoon activities will consist of a foxhunt and the opportunity to bag a few brand new caches (some within walking distance and some requiring a car). One cache contains limited edition goodies.

Limited parking is available outside the pub but most parking is along the side of the road overlooking the forest.

The new caches have been released so that you can get them downloaded into your handhelds! The caches that are available are listed below.

The Foxhunt:

Mark (The Cat) has kindly arranged a fox hunt for us - the details are here.

Within Walking Distance:

You will need a car for these:

Other caches within a short distance are:

Please let us know with a note on this page, or an Email if you wish to attend - this is so we can let the pub know how many to expect.

You can find a map of the location here.
