Geocache Description:

Enjoy a stroll along the river in this lightly-used state park. After you descend to the river bottoms, a short uphill scramble takes you to the cache.

[PLEASE NOTE: Two nice geocoins have been stolen from this cache over the last year, which makes me very sad! Maybe you should save your geocoins for harder/multicaches. Sorry about that!]

From the Wilsonville area, a $2.00 ferry ride puts you almost right at the entrance to the park. Park hours are 7 am - 5 pm.

West of the boat ramp, take a hike on a riverbank trail, which descends into the river bottom area after half a mile or so.

The cache is hidden above the high-water mark, necessitating a little scrambling. It is a rectangular Tupperware container and is not buried. Initial contents include a miniature Tonka truck, the Green Tree Frog travel bug (named after a little fellow we found on this hike), some polished rocks, and some other stuff I can't remember. :-)
