Big, Patriotic cache. Contents in a 21st century ammo container.
Ruprex and I have hidden this cache to show our support for the American troops abroad. Inspired by recent deployments, of course, we were moved to express our appreciation and respect for those willing to give their lives for America and our way of life. I found Thomas Paine's quote below to be appropriate for our theme:
"These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."

Please be aware of your surroundings. This park is full of Poison Oak (as with most parks around here). There isn't any at the cache coords but if you take the trail from the bottom, you're sure to see it along the way. You can get to the cache from above without too much worry. Below I've complied a handful of pictures that will help you identify Poison Oak. Don't be run off by my extensive mention of Poison Oak. I just feel that this is a good place to educate.
