Bridges of Polk County #2 Virtual Cache
Bridges of Polk County #2
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This virtual cache was setup to remind everyone the fast pace we all lead, and how often we pass over a bridge or highway with hardly a glance at natures beauty. Your reward will be the magnificent views that most people will pass right on by.
A good parking area is located at N 35 13.322 W082 18.489 a pull off on US 176. A second parking area is just north of the bridge, but you have to be careful not to block the driveway. The virtual cache is located on US176, a semi busy road between Hendersonville and Tryon. With a bit of caution you should not have a problem. If you walk a couple hundred yards north and south along the road, you will be rewarded with wondrous sites of rock cliffs and the Pacolet River.
To log this cache you are required to answer 2 questions. The answers to both questions are on either plaque of the bridge. Please email us with your answers through geocaching.com, or at rsimpson130@gmail.com. I must receive your email with the answers within 48 hours of your log, or your log will be deleted. Do not place your answers on your log so that others may enjoy the search and natures beauty.
1. What is the name of the bridge?
2. When was the bridge constructed?
Please be careful and enjoy!
