Geocache Description:

This is another old cemetery that has been restored. The people buried here were some of the founding fathers of Elk Grove area. When Highway 99 cut through the farmland, the cemetery was almost demolished. The headstones were vandalized and overgrown. It has been completely restored and markers replaced.
When the new interchange goes through, a tunnel beneath the on and offramps will provide access to this small cemetery. Hopefully it will continue to be maintained.

The cache is small tin similar to an Altoids container, painted flat black. Bring a pen, pencil or crayon as it's too small for one.
