A Geocaching expedition to the Judges Lake area of Hinckley Reservation
Cache approved by Cleveland Metroparks.
Best location to start for this geocache is from the parking lot of the Judges Lake Picnic Area off of Ledge Road.
The cache is a .50 cal ammo box with the following starting contents:

This is an area I've been to quite often while searching for raptors in the southern end of Hinckley, and I've also seen pheasant in the nearby fields. Enjoy the view, and hope you enjoy your visit to the cache.
Since everyone has been having bushwhacking expeditions and wondering about if there are trails, let me say this: If you start from Judges Lake, you should be able to follow trails until you get about 300 feet from the cache (and yes, the bridle trail is one of them). The first trail from Judges Lake may not be blatantly obvious, but if you think where a trail should go, it will be there.
