Geocache Description:

The Berembun waterfalls are located in Pahang on the slopes of Gunung Benom. For the last 2 km of the access road you need a 4WD or you must walk.

The Berembun Waterfalls are beautifully located in primary forest. Until a few years ago they were completely unspoiled.
Access Route (from KL):
First to Bentong, then to Raub. Outside Raub, on the way to Kuala Lips, you will see a sign for Lata Berembun, 24 km. You will reach a small village, Kampong Sg. Klau, with another sign to the falls. Passing through cocoa and rubber plantations you will come to a junction (N 03 45.167 E 102 01.319)where you take the left track.
If you have a 4WD, you can continue until the falls. If not, you must park near the bridge, about 2 km from the falls and walk the last part.
The geocache is a plastic container, hidden in a tree stump, under a stone. As this is a forested area, getting a bearing was not so easy and the coordinates are only accurate to 15 meters.
There are many tree stumps so a HINT picture (see below) is provided to give some help.
