The theme of this cache is polished rocks. It is located near Judy's Pond next to Fall's Lake. It's not too difficult, but there are some small streams to cross and it is fairly well hidden.
This is Dante's Pack's first cache. My son is a collector of polished rocks. We thought it would make for an interesting theme for trading. The cache is in a clear jar and the rocks are in a blue bag. Please leave the bag, trade rocks and log your visit.
To get there: coming from Falls of the Neuse, go toward the lake on Raven Ridge Rd. After you cross the finger of the lake, park in the gravel area on the left of Raven Ridge. From there, follow the GPS.
If you like to fish, bring your gear, and a kid. Judy's Pond is a designated kid's fishing pond. We've enjoyed many wonderful afternoons fishing here, and we thought we would share our spot with you. Since this is our first cache, we would appreciate comments on difficulty.
