Cammo 7.62 mm ammo can. This is a good night cache, but can be done during daylight hours if the need arises. The obverse of the geocaching info sheet contains a short history of the real monument. The original obelisk, from which this cache derives its name, had its cornerstone laid on July 4, 1848, with the same trowel George Washington used to lay the cornerstone of the Capitol in 1793. The base walls of the original are 15 feet thick, the repro walls are much thinner.
