The cache is located OVER THE HILL behind the site of Wolf's mill 1877. Erected in 1806 as a saw and grist mill by Maltby. During 1815 it became Frick's mill. Wolf added flour milling and delivery to the city of Buffalo under the "Star" name. Water and gas power was used. Near the cache, the gas well is marked. Water power was provided by Ellicott creek.
The 50 Cal. can is filled with the usual goodies.
In life we all cross many hills, birthdays being one of them. It's funny how in younger years we strive to reach the BIG birthdays, the ones divisible by ten. For most folks, two of the big ones is enough. As we approach the third, fourth, fifth etc. we start to think of these milestones as hills. We begin to wonder, "...OVER THE HILL..." As at the cache site, the hills in life are very small. They are only as steep as we make them. As long as we are still geocaching we'll never be OVER THE HILL.
