Geocache Description:

Located in Lorimer Park, a 230 acre natural area in Abington Township.

Park in Lorimer Park lot on Moredon Road, between Pine Road and Huntingdon Pike (Rt. 232). Cache is located in the south side of the park, the same side of the road as the parking area.

Please note the following park rules:
- park hours are 8:00am till sunset (see signs for specific closing time; strictly enforced)
- dogs are allowed on the trails, but not in the picnic area
- mountain biking is permitted along the many trails

The terrain is rolling hills through forest and fields, criss-crossed by streams and well maintained trails.

Be advised that Lyme Disease carrying Deer Ticks inhabit the area. If you venture through undergrowth you are urged to use bug repellent, check yourself for ticks and bathe as soon as possible.

Cache is an ammo box.
