Quite a ways on dirt roads. If it is not muddy a high clearence two wheel drive should surfice. Beware--these roads can get muddy very quickly with just a small amount of moisture.
This cache is a white bucket with a blue lid. When placed it had some information on the emigrant trail that was used in the mid 1800's and information about the Central Pacific Railroad. From this site you can see both the old wagon trail and the old railroad bed. This cache also contained
