This cache is at the end of a rest area and between two bridges. You will not have to walk very far from your car.
The cache is a very small round, camo-painted container hidden at a higher level. The man-made object is to the left of the track as you approach the bridge. When the river floods - which it does quite frequently - the water rises close to the level of the cache. At these times it can be quite difficult - maybe even impossible to safely reach the cache site. The flood waters can sit on the path down to the river for even longer which can also make it muddy and difficult to find an easy approach to the cache.
We have been there in summer when it was perfectly dry but difficult to get to because of all the growth around it. We have also experience wet and muddy conditions in the summer.
We have been there in winter when everything was dry and the cache site obvious because all the surrounding growth had died off. However we have also experienced wet and muddy conditions in the winter.
The rise and fall of the river is unpredictable so you will just need to take a chance!!
