Geocache Description:

This is a normal, minimal torture geocache in an ammo can. First finder gets extra cuts and snags from saw palmetto and briars!

Me and Chunky Monkey of the Sea (numero uno) were on a mission to set a cache today. We trekked all the way to the beach on this trail and couldn't find any side trails of interest that a human could reasonably negotiate in bipedal mode so on the way back to the geo/paint van we settled for this cache site. Easy you might think? Well.... sort of. You may ask - what's up with the stupid title? Well.... I saw a certain tree near the cache site that reminded me of Christmas so it worked. Hint: this is not a cache to do barefooted! (or with short pants either) As an added educational bonus, if you didn't know before, you will know after this cache why they call them SAW palmettos.

Enjoy!

The cache container contains a pretty good assortment of geo-loot including but not limited to:

1. Bug repellant and bug bite medicine - for cache use ONLY please. You'll need it. Trust me... if the mosquitos aren't biting - the ticks are!

2. Disposable camera with flash - please take your photo at the cache site and return the camera to the zip-lock bag after noting the exposure number to be included in your post on this web page. Please note: this type of camera takes much better pictures if one or more of your fingers is not covering the flash and/or the lens while you are taking the shot.

3. Camper's toilet paper - this is a trade item and definitely NOT for cache use! The cachers after you thank you profusely.

4. Emergency rations in case a sinkhole opens and you fall into a cave while you are logging your find or (if these are taken as trade items) your car falls into a ravine and you are trapped inside. No, this is NOT Taco Bell Fire Sauce. You think I'm joking? Do a web search on getting trapped in your car after falling into a ravine and see what you find! Hey... it could happen!

5. The ubiquitous www.wheresgeorge.com $1 - please log it! C'mon - you're getting paid a buck to spend 30 seconds on your computer at a website - that's almost lawyer pay and you do it all night for free anyway.... right?

6. Assorted other trinket type items suitable for kids of all ages.
