Team_J: This was a fun cache. It seems that the neighborhood has reclaimed it. Thanks for all of the great logs!!

Geocache Description:

Where have all the houses gone?

This "neighborhood" was found while looking for ways to access "Jean's Rice" by foot.

It appears on the maps for Houston, and has paved streets with concrete curbs.  The streets in the neighborhood have nice island names, like Aruba, Barbuda, Grenada, Tobago and Cayman.  But it seems that no houses were ever built
If anyone who lives in the Spring area knows what happened here, drop us a line.

You can drive to within mere feet of the cache, but we strongly discourage you from doing this, if you value your vehicle and its tires.  (You'll see why when you get there.)  The walk to the cache is about 0.5 miles from where you will most likely park.

The cache can be found at the intersection of Aruba Lane and Barbuda Drive.   It is a standard ammo-can cache, with several items that you might encounter on a tropical or deserted island.

Have fun, play nice, and be careful out there.

NOTE (1/22/04): Due to movement of the natural cover in the immediate area of the cache, the coordinates have shifted slightly. Expand your search area by about 10-20 feet to the West.
