A Good....ells Micro-Mini Hunt Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Northern-Lights: Well, I figure everyone that was going to do the cache has done it....so we'll archive it and try another in the area. Unfortunatly, Mr. Quackers the travel bug seems to have met his demise at the this cache, if anyone finds him, please return him to the cache circuit. All the pieces of the cache have been removed, and thanks to everyone that helped keep the park clean!!

Geocache Description:

This is located in the Goodells County Park. There is no entry fee required. Park closes at 10 pm. Pets are allowed. If there is more than a dusting of snow...this may not be possible. For those interested, there is a benchmark supposedly very close to the second micro. There are lots of "muggles" about...be discreet in seeking or re-hiding the cache. (Thank you to the St. Clair County Parks department for permission to place this cache.)

(Read all the instructions and follow them carefully.) The coordinates are for the suggested parking area. Once parked, walk north to the POW/MIA memorial. You will need to pay your respects to all those listed on the memorial in order to find the first container. Count all the last names listed on the two pillers, then subtract from that, the number of benches permanently placed at the memorial. Plug the final numbers in the blanks of the following location: N 42 58.931 W 82 39.3_ _ . Those coordinates will take you to the first micro....a 35 mm film canistor. Inside will be the coordinates to the next, also a 35 mm film canister. The second canister has the coordinates of the cache. The cache is only 4 x 4 inches, and only 2.5 inches deep. In keeping with our tradition, there is cash in the cache for the first finder. Sign the log, and remember to trash out so we can keep our good standing with the county parks. Also remember to trade even or trade up....just be careful what you bring to this one, its a small one! I want this to be a bit of a challenge.....so I'm not giving any hints here... If you follow the instructions... and look carefully, you'll do fine. Good luck. (One final favor.....when you complete this, please log how you rated it, how long it took and if you thought it was challenging.....just no hints please. This will allow me to monitor and adjust as necessary. Thanks.)

Also....if you didn't know about it.. Michigan has it's own forums to visit at www.mi-geocaching.org Drop in and say hello sometime!
