About a 2 mile walk (there and back). Well maintained footpaths,could be a little muddy after rian.
This is a gentle walk near Ogden Reservoir.The reservoir was built in 1858 by Halifax Corporation and is still a major supplier to the town.The reservoir is so high above Halifax that the water is gravity fed - no pumps. A brief stop in the visitor centre will fill you full of facts and figures!
The Wind Farm consists of 23 turbines which generate enough power for approx 7,500 homes. Condemned by many they are at least "green".
Upon returning from the cache, if you wish, skirt the reservoir to the right to include a full circuit.
