Geocache Description:

Located in the "Bennet Memorial Garden"

Well, the first Albany Cache is gone and so are the Kane Krew. We are moving to Korea and won't be able to manage a replacement.

This has gotten a lot of folks out of the house and in to geocaching and I hope someone will make a Rescued Cache II, it's a great spot!

This cache was originally placed in an inappropriate location by someone else. The Kane Krew rescued it at the request of the Georgia Geocachers Association and we have hidden it here in Albany, Georgia.

The Bennet Memorial Garden is located within a larger Park in Albany, Georgia’s Garden District.

There are many beautiful homes in the area so enjoy your drive around as you track down this cache.

As far as we know this is the Very First Albany, Georgia cache and we hope that other local geocachers will contact us.
