This IS in a more interesting location though it may not look like it. As innocent and boring as this place may seem it used to scare the tar out of me as a young teenager. The renovated buildings used to be the Yerkes Primate Research Facility where research was conducted on chimpanzees. We knew it as the Monkey Farm. Imagine in your mind the horror stories that teenagers will make up to scare each other about a place like this. The problem me and my friends had was the stories had circulated so long that we didn't know if they were true or not. We had visions of mad scientists torturing or performing sick experiments on helpless chimps. We used to dare each other to walk on the grounds knowing that at any minute a crazed monkey would run out to attack us. It closed it's doors further fueling the stories. We figured the law had finally caught up with the evil doctors. I found out the truth recently.... it moved to Emory University and has over 3000 chimpanzees under their care and study. BORING! It sure seemed more interesting then....
