Spring's Sprung Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

briansnat: Stopped by to check on this Wed night on my way to VT. Couldn't find it and tried again today in the daylight. Looks like it's gone.

I thought about replacing it, but I figure its had a good run and I'd open up the area for the locals.

Maybe I'll replace it come summer if nobody else plants a cache in this spot.

Geocache Description:

This is now an offset cache. For those of you who've already found the original, you are welcome to find this one again, as the format has changed. Don't forget to bring water bottles to fill. The water here is safe, cold and very refreshing. Bring a compass.

The coordinates guide you to the spring's cistern. From the cistern, walk 55 paces at 140 degrees toward path at opposite end of the lot. Continue in same direction to bank of the stream. To your left is a dead tree. Begin your search there.

The cache is in a "wide mouth" nalgene bottle. But the "wide mouth" doesn't allow for very large trade items.

When rehiding cache, be sure to screw the lid on firmly and replace it exactly the way you found it.
