This cache is near Barre Falls Dam and is also the Mid-State Hiking Trail.The trail goes across the dam.Barre Falls Dam is located within the towns of Hubbardston,Barre,and Rutland Ma.This is a 22,000 acre Ware River Watershed.Open to the public for canoeing,picnicking,hunting,fishing.hiking, sightseeing,horseback riding, cross-country skiing, and wildlife observation.This is located on Rt.62. It is 2.2 mi.from Rt.62 and Rt. 68 heading toward the town of Barre.The parking area is N42 25 512 W072 01 438.It is the last parking area in the park. This is just off the Mid-state trail.Cache has something for everyone.
