Eddie
"The Eagle" Edwards make Olympic history in Calgary in 1988, when he became the
first British ski jumper to ever compete in the Olympic Winter Games. Being the best ski jumper
in Britain didn't mean Eddie was the best ski jumper in Calgary, but he wasn't
the worst: Eddie finished 56th out of 57 jumpers in the competition.
From where this cache is hidden, you can see the spot where Eddie set the
world abuzz. Canada Olympic Park is just across the river from the cache site.
After you've found the cache, stand on the hump, face downhill, put your arms at
your side, and lean forward a little. You'll experience the same thrill Eddie
experienced as he jumped his way into history.
