First geocache location in Roberts Creek, a B.C. community with a retro '60s flavour. "Creek Daze" is the area's colourful annual celebration held in late August.
Physical cache is now a camo-painted baking powder container, cylindrical shape, with a 3" diameter opening at one end - a fair bit of space in this one!
Due to tree cover, the Point N 49°25.259 W 123°38.480 is not the cache. It is a Point in the middle of a 2-lane paved roadway. From this Point, you will be standing mid-way between a dark red coloured building (about 50 metres away), and a bridge on the road (also about 50 metres away).
To reach the cache, depart from the Point, and proceed toward the far end of the bridge. Then duck down the SouthEast corner of the bridge, and look around the base of the first support post under that corner of the bridge.
You might perhaps want to bring a flashlight for the search, though a flashlight wasn't needed to place the cache.
** Careful on the large rocks under the bridge! Could be slippery there in the dark! **
