elperro: It was a good run for this cache. Apologies for being remiss in upkeep and updates. I'll always miss this beautiful little park and of course, Mississippi. Keep caching!

Geocache Description:

Baseball is the park's main use but off the left of the park road are trail entrances. Hikers, paintballers, bikers and the occasional horse all use the trails.

The park is usually open on the weekends for games, but the city of Jackson is notorious for leaving locked gates on public parks. You can just park at the entrance and walk to the cache though. The cache is about 3/4 of a mile from the entrance but the trails provide easy access and a nice nature stroll. Cache is a black toolbox wrapped in a garbage bag. Contents: logbook, batteries, poncho, pliers, precision tools, keychains and assorted trinkets.

***Pardon for the momumental delays, but I have now re-coordinated the cache and it is ready to be discovered.***
