Geocache Description:

A little part of Victoria that will forever be Irish is the spot for maccamob’s fifty-fifth cache. This place has people from all parts of Ireland, with birthplaces such as Tipperary, Limerick and Kilkenny. Names like Patrick, Francis, Annie and Mary are typical, and symbols such as the harp and shamrock are everywhere. You will need to collect some data to find the cache.

First Location
At the posted coordinates, find John, Lawrence, Katherine, John, Sarah and Annie – members of what was clearly a large extended family.
In what year did Annie die? Year = abcd
When did Sarah die (month day year)? Date = e f ghij
In what year did the first John die? Year = klmn
p = c + d
q = e + f

Now go to S 36 º 47.ipi, E 144 º 29.qnc

Second Location
Here you should find Bridget, Timothy, Annie, Teresa, Donnol and Margaretta.
How old was Margaretta when she died? Age = rs
And how old was Donnol? Age = tu
Now add their ages. Total = vw
In what month did Annie die? Month = x
How old was Bridget when she died? Age = yz
You will find the cache hidden at S 36º 47.zv(r+w), E 144º 29.xs(t+u)

Although we didn’t see any, be careful of spiders and snakes. As usual, please ensure the cache is well hidden again before you leave.
