The Beaver came to Tiveden in the early 1970th. They lived at this site for quite some years, cutting down trees and building a dam. Some beaver were hunted down, other moved away. Now they are back again ! Plenty of trees, aspen and birch, of all dimensions has been cut down along a stretch of the small stream flowing here.
The old hut is 15 meters to the south of the cache. Another 40 meters to the south is one end of the dam. Jump over the barb wire (carefully) and walk out onto the dam. 20 meters east of the cache the beaver has cut down numerous of small aspen (sly). Sharp stubs are everywhere.
The cache, a white film canister, is put at a beaver safe hight.
