This cache is an ammo can about 40 meters off the Coal Creek Basin Pack Trail (FS Trail # 703)
Off Highway 50, take the Lands End Road, but veer right to Kannah Creek Road. Go to the end where it turns back and park at either the Blue Creek Trailhead lot, or cross the creek and park just west of the 703 Trailhead. The trail is clearly defined all the way, but may be muddy. The cache is a little over a mile from the trailhead. Elevation gain is 450 feet overall.
Initial contents: Logbook, pencils, geocache information sheet, Dean Koontz novel, CD wallet, small screw driver set, dog treats, pocket back scratcher, Rosewood letter opener, fishing lure, tin of Altoids, nail file, mini-duster, carabiner.
