That was Zen, This is Now Traditional Geocache

Located in a 26-acre park & nature center, open daily from sunrise to sunset and on Saturday evenings from 8 to 10 PM for the observatory. Due to staff limitations, the gate is usually open between 9 AM to 5 PM but you may enter the park even if the gates are closed. There is no entrance fee. Pets are not allowed because it is a wildlife sanctuary. The trail will be okay for small children but unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

This is a wonderful park with many amenities, including bird-watching, native tree arboretum, butterfly garden, fire circle, nearby fishing canal, canoe rentals, nature trails and guided tours, picnic shelters, playground, and restrooms. There is also a live indoor exhibit of reptiles and amphibians and a new freshwater exhibit. It is the Observatory site for the Southern Cross Astronomical Society which conducts free star-watching programs with telescopes, lectures and slide shows.

This park was originally opened to the public as Old Cutler Hammock Nature Center but was renamed in 1992 in honor of a South Florida civic leader and environmentalist who was killed in a plane crash. I will leave it up to you to find out who this special park is named after.
