Da Swamp Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Happy Boy: When I placed it, I decided that it would be a good high terrain cache. I now have higher terrain caches in the southern part of the county that are probably better, never knew that someone would go back in the thorns and pitch a tent.

Geocache Description:

Off Old West Liberty Street, behind the Second Mill Pond dam along the Green Swamp. Climb down from the parking area into the swamp, and walk along the dry creek. A lot of people fish here, so try to be quiet. The most difficult part is when you are in the woods, you have to guess the path sometimes, and there are many thorny briars. The cache is in an open location, but getting to and/or finding that spot is the hard part.

Cache is a tupperware container with a white lid.

Original contents include:

Golf tee
Sumter High School Gamecocks mini-football
Ping pong ball
Lanyard
Atlanta Braves cap
FIFA 2001 soccer game for Play Station 2
