UNFORTUNATELY THIS CHACHE HAS BEEN VADALIZED BY SOME POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING - TOOK ENTIRE CONTENTS AND LEFT FECES IN THE AMMO BOX. MAY WHOEVER DID THIS ROT IN HELL!
This is a very natural, wooded, little park with a picnic area and an abandoned Boy Scout Camp. From Stoneybank Road, drive through the first gate and park in the lot. Take first path on right. It's a nicer walk that way.Turn left at the creek to reach the pond.
No bushwhacking necessary to find a green ammo can. A small photo album of previous visitors is in the cache(thru March, 2003).
Check out the frogs at the pond (when it's not too cold) and the walk along the creek.
