Geocache Description:

The Wratten Murders

This cache is hidden near the Ebenezer cemetery.  This cemetery is the burial site of the Wratten family.  They are a family of six that was slaughtered on September 18, 1893.  It remains one of the most infamous murders in the area.

The article about the murders can be found by clicking here.

The coordinates listed are for the grave marker of the family.  The cache is not hidden in the grave area.  Once you find the grave marker, you must do a little compass work to find the cache.  The cache is hidden 57 feet away at a bearing of 45 degrees.  You are looking for a sandwich sized lock and lock container. Please be respectful in the cemetery.
