A circular walk in the Itchen valley of just over 3.5Km. The co-ordinates, above, are for the car park. The cache lies between the Itchen Navigation and the Itchen River.
From the car park walk toward the railway bridge and pass the spot where Victor Meldrew met his Maker. Follow the road to:- Clue 1. Look for a number [see 1]. Subtract this number from 225 and you will have the last three digits of longitude - W001°19.xxx`. Now walk to the church and continue on to:- Clue 2. Here you will find three digits, add these to 469 and you will have the correct latitude - N51° 01.xxx` [see 2]. You should now be able to find the cache, [see 3], which started with some reasonable items inside, including Ben the Bopping Bunny TB. This box replaces the original, which was burnt in a tree fire nearby.
