Geocache Description:

Visit the Parish of Swallowfield and All Saints church

All Saints church was built by Sir John le Despencer in the 13th century. It's been altered a lot since then. Its belfry is of timber and herringbone brickwork and inside it has scissor braces supporting the roof. The two doorways are Norman. A superb sight

This is the church where Mary Russell, Mitford is buried. The grave is in the far corner of the church yard

This cache has now been transfered to a small ammo box and relocated to the new location a little further off the beaten track.Lat/Long has been updated with new location. There is also a new log book and contents.
