A pleasant walk along the side of the Roadford reservior. Roadford was completed in 1990, and with a surface area of more than 730 acres, is one of the largest inland waters in the South West.
Parking is available at N50 41.271 W004 13.893. This is the main carpark next to the dam, There is a shop and toilets. Carparking here is chargable. The cache is a 1 1/2Km walk from here along the foreshore. It is also suitable for wheelchairs
Closer parking is at N50 41.553 W004 13.530. This is a free carpark and is only 500ft from the cache.
Near the cache is a birdhide for observing all the wild birds that visit and live by the lake. The cache itself is a 2litre tupperware box with the usual swaps and logbook.
