Geocache Description:

This cache lies at the northern-most corner of the Nation's Capital. Forty boundary stones were placed to mark the District of Colombia and most of them are still in place. The stone near the cache marks the northern most point in Washington. If you want to learn more about the boundaries...check out this website: http://www.boundarystones.org/

Parking may be the most difficult part of finding this location. East West Highway is a busy street. Please be careful crossing or walking beside it. Container is a medium size coffee container. This cache was set/placed by FarFetch back in 2003. Adopted in July 2010 by his good friend TheWeatherWarrior/Stormitecture. The cache was originally located too close to a deep gully and was often washed away. Oddly enough, Farfetch didn't realize he wasn't as close as he needed to be to the exact corner of DC. Dancingfool adopted this cache in January 2013
