This is area is a great place for a cache, but because hidden caches are not permitted in the lowland area of the Red Cliff Reserve I had to take the traditional cache out. But not to worry this is now a Virtual Cache. Which is ok in the reserve. This area is well worth the hike. If you found the cache before it changed to a Virtual Cache, go ahead and log your visit.
The location of the trail is a short distance up Snow Canyon Parkway, about .3 miles, from the large white DIXIE painted on a rock, on the left 37 07.150 N 113 34.974 W. There are a couple of trails too take, both lead to the same place. The trail follows the ridge to the NW. This is Red Cliff Reserve so it is important to stay on the trails. About .7 mi. up the trail is a dirt road. This will lead you close to the cache. PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAILS.
To show that you found the location take a picture facing south. Include your GPS and/people you came with in the picture, then post it along with your log.
