Tamarack Swamp
Durand Eastman Park is home to quite a few caches and now you can add Tamarack Swamp Cache to the list. The oversized plastic pretzel container is located in the northeastern most section of the park and is accessible all year. It is not located in the swamp, you do not have to enter the swamp.
There is a trail all the way to the cache, as you proceed stop and marvel the awesome sight at 43° 13.931 / 77° 33.193 (large tree) you will not see many of these in the park.
Before you leave the area hike up to the top of the ridge to get another perspective of the area.
Cache started out with trade items for young and old alike, please trade fair.
