While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

Located in the Hofma Preserve in Grand Haven Township.

There are a seires of trails that run through out the preserve. There are actualy two ways in to the Preserve. Selecting the closest way will save some walking. Even if you choose the "long" way, it's still only about a mile in. The trails are flat and a pretty easy walk. Difficulty comes from the tree cover which may make GPS readings vary. The cache is consealed in an area off the trail. After finding it, please re-conseal the cache as natural as possible.

There are ball diamonds, soccer fields, 2 playgrounds, picnic tables and grilles so bring the whole family and stay awhile.

The cache is in a Tupperware type container.The cache initialy had in it a bottle of water, 2 screw driver kits, $100.00 bill (sort of), a golf ball, 2 key rings, a Power Puff Girl toy, a Clue puzzle and an AC voltage detector. Look for our next cache in the near future.
