Geocache Description:

Come and read about a story 'bout a man named Jim...

Here is a chance for you to get off the freeway and see some backroads and scenery that you would ordinarily miss. This virtual cache is a stone monument dedicated to the memory of a great early explorer and fur trapper in the Rocky Mountains: Jim Bridger. Jim is the epitome of our modern-day notion of a "Mountain Man", and as such spent a fair amount of time in the land which is now Utah during his adventures in the rugged west.

To claim this cache as a find, you must visit this marker and read the plaque. It mentions a journey of discovery Bridger made back in the 1800's. What means of transportation (two words) did Jim Bridger utilize for this journey?

E-mail me with the answer for verification. As with all virtual caches: no cheating allowed!

Cache-u-later...
