This multicache is located on the north side of the Snake River Canyon. It contains 4 cache sites. You will find in the first 3 caches a log book and pencil to express your thoughts about each site, also the coordinates for the next cache. The final site is a regular cache. All sites will offer spectacular views of Twin Falls Falls, Snake River and Vinyard Lake and Creek.

You are about to begin a wonderful and exciting journey into one of the most spectacular places in the Snake River Canyon. The area was carved and transformed by the powers of water into what we see today. Each cache will take you to a different part of the canyon and its unique environment. You will see different views of the Snake River, also. Each cache will hold the coordinates and information which will lead you to the next cache until you reach the final cache. The 4 caches each contain log books to record your find and your thoughts about each site. The hike is approximately 2 miles from the beginning to end. The terrain is relatively easy to navigate with a few exceptions. These exceptions are what make the hike a 4 instead of a 2. There is water to cross, so wear good hiking boots. There is no potable water, so bring water with you. Snacks would be nice, also. There is poison ivy to be aware of in a couple of areas, so be able to identify it. The trail is mostly a game trail, so be prepared to see many of the wildlife species that make Vinyard Lake area their home. We wanted to set up this cache so that you could experience what brings us back to this area over and over again. Take time to soak up the atmosphere and history of the area. Take your camera, you will find the views outstanding and memorable.
