A historic place anywhere is always of interest to many geocachers and here's another one. This is of special interest to me because I lived there for a while and became absorbed by the history of the place and the surrounding area.
The subject is not what you would call a popular one, but after reading it you may wonder how the activity was handled in other places of historical value.
It is not what you might call, "out of the way", but it isn't on many sightseeing publications either. If you didn't know the significance of the site you'd never realize what went on there in years gone by.
Look around and ask questions, there's a lot of history to be learned here.
