Be sure and check out the area southeast of the cache as it is a great place to have a picnic, do some exploring, and/or just plain relax. This was built back in the depression era and most of the original structures are still in use today.
Hurricane Rita covered the original container back in September 2005 so we have replaced and added new, mostly kid's goodies, for trade. You'll be looking for a one gallon container with screw on lid which is hidden fairly close to vehicle parking. Practice the usual geocaching principle of taking an item and leaving an item if you wish, but the main thing is to be sure and sign the cache's logbook and of course log your find here at the website!
