We stopped here with a small group / family of moto folks. This is
a pretty easy find and a good rest stop in one. Be careful, soft
sand in the area, and be nice to the flowers and flora in the area.
Accessible from Hwy 78 side without seeing any posted no
tresspassing signs. If you enter from Split Mtn. Road, it is posted
for property owners only.
Cache is a Classic Green Ammo Can in a bush. Original contents are:
- 6 open end wrenches
- 14 small sockets
- San Diego Zoo Pin
- BMX hub pegs
- costume jewelery
- wienie dog toy (Thanks to dashdog)!
